3 simple self-care routines that will promote positivity

Self-care isn't just about taking a bubble bath, going to the spa or starting your day with yoga. It's highly about caring for yourself in small ways throughout your day.

Self-care is often overlooked and underrated, which is truly a shame. Taking care of yourself can have a dramatic impact on your life. Self-care can enhance your physical health, and mental health, and overall make you feel much more positive!

And most importantly - self-care doesn't have to take up a ton of time either!

Self-care is something that everyone needs, no matter how busy you are, where you are in your life, or who you are.

You might feel that you already have enough things on your plate and that you don't have the extra time to do these things for yourself. But please read our easy tips below and maybe try to implement just one of these things tomorrow.

With that in mind, here are three simple self-care routines that will instantly make you feel better:

1. Pour yourself a big glass of water first thing in the morning

Okay, this may sound a little too simple.. But in fact, many of us jump straight into the day and simply forget that big glass of water, which in fact has so many health benefits for us.

When you wake up in the morning your body is dehydrated from the night. Drinking water will help you recover from this and it will instantly make you feel more clear-headed and fresh.

If you feel like you have a little extra energy, then try adding a slice of lemon to your morning water.

2. Take a short walk outside...and don't bring your phone

Exercise can be as simple as going for a quick walk around the block. It doesn't have to take up your entire afternoon!

It's amazing how much energy we can spend on social media when we're just trying to relax or clear our thoughts. Take some time out of your day to get outside and enjoy nature or just take a walk around town without feeling like you need to check Instagram every five minutes. This will help draw your attention back to your own life, mind, and body.

Doing something for your body can often make you feel like you've accomplished something, which usually leads to you feeling good or positive!

3. Wake up 20 min. earlier (before the house starts buzzing)

Waking up earlier allows you to get more done in your day without feeling rushed (and gives you more time for self-care!). Plus, waking up early sets up an expectation that the rest of your day will go smoothly. It's like setting yourself up for success. You don't have to be a morning person for this to be beneficial to you. Waking up even an extra 20 minutes earlier gives you that little bit of extra time to focus on yourself and the day ahead . You can use this time to set an intention for your day, drink your favorite morning tea, or even go for a quick stroll!

At this hour we usually take out your favorite Mana Crystal , set our intentions, and wear it with confidence throughout the day.
